How to Renew an Indian OCI Card?

To renew an Indian OCI card, you need to visit the OCI Services website and fill out the miscellaneous application to renew your OCI card. Then, you need to fill in all the details that you want to update and attach all the supporting documents with it. Pay the fees and apply for the renewal of your OCI card.

    • Then fill in the application form with all the correct details. 
    • Attach all the supporting documents and photos as mentioned by the officials. 
    • Then wait for the verification of your application. 
    • Once your application is verified, you will get your updated OCI card.

    You can also check your OCI card renewal status by visiting the official website of the OCI services and 'Track application status', then enter your application ID, passport number, and captcha. After clicking on 'Get status', you will see the real-time status of your OCI renewal application.

    Here are the documents that you will need to update a Minor OCI card: completed OCI application form, valid passport, 2 passport-size photos, parent's authorization form, parent's OCI card, Birth certificate of minor showing parents' names, proof of address, fees,  and other related documents.
