OCI card is a travel and identification document that helps Indian origin foreign nationals to work or live in India for indefinite periods. Through the OCI card, you get a lifelong multipurpose visa-free entry. To apply for an OCI card, you need to gather some of the official documents, which are: a Filled OCI application form, 2 passport size photos, a signature, a copy of a valid Passport, a copy of a naturalization certificate, proof of marriage, a copy of an employment letter or work letter, proof of address, and fees recipt.

    Here are some of the common mistakes for the OCI application by the applicant when uploading documents. They upload poor quality photos and a mismatched signature, not uploading all the documents, incorrect passport number in the application form, not mentioning the full names of parents or spouse, in the proof of marriage spouse's name is missing, part b of the application form is not signed, not attchin valid proof of adress, or incorrect address. These are some of the common mistakes that an applicant makes while uploading the documents online for the OCI application.
