How to Apply for Lost or Damaged PAN Card?

To apply for a lost or damaged PAN card online, you need to visit the official website of the NSDL, enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, and date of birth, then you need to read the declaration and click on the checkbox while mentioning the captcha, then click the 'submit' button. Then you will be redirected to a new page, where you have to enter your registered mobile number and email address to receive OTP, then click on the 'Validate' Button, and you have successfully applied for the reprint of your PAN card.

    Here are some of the important points that you should keep in mind when you have lost or damaged your PAN card. You should file an FIR at your nearest police station with all the supporting documents. You should mention your acknowledgement number for the application for Reprint of PAN or changes, or correction in PAN data on the envelope.

    To apply for a lost or damaged PAN card offline, you need to download a request for a new PAN card or changes, or a correction in PAN data, then fill out the application in capital letters, and enter your 10-digit PAN number. After that, you will need to attach 2 passport-size photos and all the required documents for the PAN card application. and send the application form with all the supporting documents to the NSDL facilitation center. Once you have completed the payment, you will get a 15-digit acknowledgement number, and check the status of your duplicate PAN card application.
