I have applied for a PAN card application through the UTIITSL website. It is a simple process. You have to click on the apply option, then below the PAN card for Indian citizen/ NRI or the PAN card for foreign Citizen tab. Then, you need to choose Apply for new PAN card form 49A for the Indian residents and Form 49AA for the foreign nationals. After that, you need to select the mode of submitting the documents and click the submit button. After that, you will get a reference number, which will be useful later in the application. Then you need to enter all the required information in the PAN card application form, like personal information, documents, parents' details, and other essential information, then click on the submit button, and pay the required fee, which is 107 INR for the Indian PAN card. Then I sent my PAN application to the nearest UTIITSL office.
For a physical PAN card, you have to pay INR 101 for dispatch in India and for dispatch outside India 1,017, and for an e-PAN card, you need to pay between INR 66-77 for a single e-PAN application.
I have paid the application fees for the PAN card application in 2025, which is INR 107 for Indian residents and INR 72 for the e-PAN card. For the foreign PAN card applicants fee is 1017 INR for the physical PAN and 72 INR for the e-PAN.
