I submitted a photo from 1 year ago for the OCI application, which was rejected because, according to OCI, your photo should have been taken within the last 6 months.
I remember during my OCI application form I submitted a digital passport-size photograph for the OCI application showing a proper face and plain background.
My photo was rejected because it didn't meet the minimum requirements for an OCI application form set by VFS Global.
