The processing time for the Indian visa extension application generally depends on the FRRO office and on the applicant's information and documents attached. If all the application information is correct and all the documents are correct, then your application will be processed quickly. However, the ideal time to apply for an Indian visa extension application is about 46 weeks before the expiry, so that you don't get any complications or inconvenience later while your travel.

Here are some of the tips for a smooth and easy application process for the Indian visa extension application.  If you think that you need to extend your Indian visa, then you don't need to wait until the last moment. You should apply for the Indian visa extension application before 46 weeks of your visa expiry so that you can avoid late processing and delays in the visa extension application.  Before submitting the documents for your Indian visa extension application, you need to check your documents twice because submitting incorrect documents can result in application delay. So make sure you have uploaded all the documents correctly by checking them twice before submitting the application.  If you have any doubts or confusion, you can freely contact the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) to clear all your doubts and issues.
