If your relationship is legitimate and you have stayed together for more than 2 years, then you can apply for a US card and get American citizenship. But to get all this, you must clear all the conditions, which include finances, learning the English language, and accommodation.

You cannot get American citizenship by marrying a US citizen. But it doesn't mean that you will get it easily by adding a route to naturalization, but it also does not help most people in common cases. A spouse of a US citizen can qualify for naturalization under the 32-year rule if they stayed together for 2 years, then they are eligible to a[ply for US citizenship.

Yes, a green card holder should get American citizenship. If the person you are marrying is us permanent resident and has a green card.  The spouse of a lawful permanent resident will qualify for the status of receiving a green card while staying in the United States.

No, marrying a US citizen does not guarantee a green card. The person whom he or she is marrying should be the subject of an approved immigrant visa petition, and it is filed by the spouse who also must qualify for immigration in that category, which means free to marry and should not have any criminal or other record.
