Yes, you can get an OCI card if you are a citizen of a country but not in India at the time of constitution commencement, if you were born in a territory that became part of India after August 1947.

Those foreign nationals who were citizens of India at the time of the constitution's commencement, who are eligible to be Indian citizens, for those who are children of grandparents or parents of Indian origin,  or belong to the territory that was part of Indian before 1947.

Yes, you can get an OCI card if you are a previously an Indian citizen or of Indian origin foreign nation. It is a long-term visa that allows foreign nationals to freely travel and stay in India for an indefinite time without reporting to any local police authority.

Yes, Indian-origin foreign nationals are eligible to hold an OCI card, and they can benefit from it, such as multiple entries to India without a visa or the need to report to local authorities or higher officials. To get an OCI card, you need to provide all the valid documents for the smooth application process, like a full printed OCI application form, recent passport-size photos, a copy of your foreign passports, a naturalization certificate, and proof of Indian origin for the smooth application process.
