No, you cannot apply for the Indian e visa on arrival because it is not available for countries apart from the Japanese nationals. They are allowed to apply for the Indian visa on arrival. Only from a few International airports, which are Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

A visa on arrival is a non-convertible and non-extendable visa, which is different from other types of visas available online. In Indian, the visa on arrival is only eligible for Japanese nationals who can get a visa on arrival for various purposes, like business meetings, tourist purposes, medical purposes, and conferences. However, if a Japanese citizen's parents or grandparents were of Pakistani origin, then he or she will not be allowed to get a visa on arrival.

The validity for the Japanese nationals of getting a Visa on arrival is up to 60 days, and the immigration officer can also grant them a double entry.

No, you cannot get an E-visa on arrival, but you can apply for one before your travel plans. To apply for an E visa, you need to visit the official website of the Indian visa portal and fill out the online application by providing all the correct information and uploading all the supporting documents for the E visa application. After making payments for the e-visa India application, you will get your Indian e-visa online.
