A UK BRP is a valid residence card issued to foreign nationals to the people who are living in the UK for more than 6 months. It is a document that can be used as proof of your immigration status and has all the biometric data for the various visas, like a work visa and a study visa. It gives you a visa duration of up to 10 years. To prove your right to stay in the UK, you must have a UK BRP.  A UK BRP card does not replace a passport for international travel, and you can use your UK BRP card as proof of identity and a supporting document in many countries.
