Hello: My OCI renewal (new passport after 50) was rejected as I had not attached the Declaration. When I resubmit documents am I supposed to resubmit under the original application ID or am I supposed to start a new application? Can someone here please guide me as the system does not seem to allow resubmission under old application ID. Thank you in advance!
If your OCI application was rejected because you have not attached documents, then you need to reapply for an OCI application with a new application ID. After that, you need to fill in all the details and upload all the documents for your OCI application. The Online OCI system does not allow resubmission of the same application ID once it gets rejected.
If your application was rejected, then you can apply for a refund for the OCI application, but this will not include the courier and service charges.
