However, for the OCI cardholders passport needs to be renewed every 10 years, and if they make any changes while renewing their OCI card, then they need to update their OCI card, also for which they need to apply for an OCI renewal.
OCI cardholders need to apply for an OCI card renewal at the age of 20 years, when you will get your passport, because you need to update your passport number each time after you get a new passport. Additionally, when you have to update or change any personal information in your OCI card then you need to renew your card to update the details in it.
