To get a citizenship of any other country, you will need to surrender your OCI card, as per the Indian Government. India does not allow dual citizenship, so you need to surrender your OCI card and Indian passport. You can easily apply for the Renunciation or surrender of an OCI card from the official website of the OCI Services. You need to fill out an application form for the renewal of your OCI application and fill in all the details, and attach all the documents. Then you need to pay the fees and submit your application.

To renounce your OCI card, you need to fill out a declaration of renunciation certificate for the OCI under section 7C(1) of the Citizenship Act, 1955. It allows an individual to surrender the OCI card. You need to fill in all the correct details in the application form, like name, address, profession, place of birth, nationality, and many more.
