The processing time for the OCI re-issue or updation application is 6-7 weeks. However, if there are wrong or incorrect documents, then your application will take some time in the process. I have filed an online application with the official OCI services website and submitted all the documents and filled out the correct information in the online application. For my OCI card processing, I have waited for 6 weeks because the last application submission took more time then as usual. But in the end, I safely got my OCI card.
The processing time for the new, fresh OCI application is about 5-6 weeks. However, it is upon the OCI application details.
