Hi, is there anybody who recently applied for an OCI Card, specifically in the last 12 months, and received it? Can you please tell me how long it took you to receive the card from the time you mailed your application? Also, please mention the mission in the us or elsewhere where you sent your application.
The processing time for the OCI re-issue or updation application is 6-7 weeks. However, if there are wrong or incorrect documents, then your application will take some time in the process. If all the documents and details in the OCI application are correct, then you will get your OCI application within the given processing time.
I have filed an online application with the official OCI services website and submitted all the documents and filled out the correct information in the online application. For my OCI card processing, I have waited for 6 weeks because the last application submission took more time then as usual. But in the end, I safely got my OCI card.
