An OCI is a card, not a stamp on a passport. It is a valid document that allows foreign nationals of Indian origin to travel lifelong without a visa for work, or live in India without reporting to any local police or authorities for the duration of stay.

OCI card is a lifelong free visa for foreign indian nationals, and not a stamp on the passport. To apply for an OCI card, you need to visit the OCI services website and fill out an online application form with all the supporting documents and pay the fees. Then, you need to book an appointment and submit your OCI application to the Application Centre and pay the fees for the application. After the application submission, you will get your OCI card within 4-6 weeks.

An OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) is a card and not a stamp on the passport. It has many benefits in various sectors of indian, like economic, educational, and financial sectors, and allows OCI cardholders to get the same fees and equal rights as Indian citizens.
