To change your name on the OCI card, you need to visit the official website of the OCI services and go to the OCI miscellaneous services, then fill out an online application form to update your name or correct your name in the OCI card. Select your service 'Change of name' and upload all the supporting documents to change your name on the OCI card. For the minors, get the supporting documents signed by both parents and pay the required fees for OCI card miscellaneous services.

I have also filled out an online OCI miscellaneous application for name change due to my marriage. I have submitted all the essential documents which are required for the application and filled in all the details correctly, paid online fees and submitted my application to the registered FRRO centre under my jurisdiction.

For your OCI card name change miscellaneous application, you need to send your printed filled application to your nearby Indian Mission post/ office or your jurisdictional FRRO centre, and you can pay the fees for the OCI card name change online easily.

An OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) can apply for OCI miscellaneous services if they want to renew or update any information in the OCI card. If you want to change your name on the OCI card or any personal information, then you also have to apply for OCI miscellaneous services and submit an online application through the online OCI Services website.

For the name change application on the OCI card, you need to visit the OCI Services website and apply for the OCI miscellaneous services website, then fill out the details in the application form for a new OCI booklet due to name change, and submit your application to your nearest Indian embassy or consulate with fees and your old OCI card and passport. For the married person, you will need to provide your marriage certificate in case any changes need to be made to the OCI card.

If you are applying for a name change miscellaneous application, then you need to gather some important documents for your application: a copy of your marriage certificate, if you are married, your spouse's passport, proof of residence, and your old OCI card.
