Given below are some of the points that you should remember while filing an OCI card application: 

  • Make sure you have uploaded a high-quality photo and signature for your OCI card application. 
  • Always review your application before submitting to avoid the chance of application rejection. 
  • You must submit all the necessary documents that are essential for the OCI card application. 
  • Fill your OCI card application as early as possible to avoid last last-minute rush and delayed processing of your OCI application. 
  • Regularly track your OCI card application to get more updates about your application.

    Here are some of the mistakes that you should avoid while filing an OCI card application: 

    • When filing out the OCI card application, you must upload a high-quality photo and a signature. Many applicants upload low-quality photos and signatures, which results in the rejection of the OCI card application. 
    • Not uploading all the supporting documents with the OCI application. 
    • Entered incorrect or wrong details in the OCI application, like the name, place of birth, and date of birth. 
    • Do not mention the name of the spouse or marital status in the OCI application.

      If you failed to provide a complete address and did not attach a valid address proof, then your application will be rejected.
