When you fill out the Indian visa application online form on the Indian visa official website, you need to take a printout of the visa application and need to submit the visa application to the Indian mission or the nearest Indian visa application center with all the supporting documents and your passport. Then you need to wait for the processing of your Indian visa, and when your visa is ready to be collected, you can go to the Indian mission or the nearest Indian visa application center to collect your visa and passport.
