When filling out the passport application form, ensure that you provide all the details accurately. During the process of applying for my passport, I encountered a discrepancy in my name between the information on my passport application and my birth certificate. As a result, the officials requested that I submit a notarised affidavit. Therefore, to avoid delays before submitting your final work, double-check all the details.

Recently, I applied for my baby's passport at the Indian consulate. There, the officials asked me to submit the baby's birth certificate, photocopies of the parents' passports, the marriage certificate, annexures, and a passport-size, colored photograph of the child. Also, do not forget to attach the passport application form.

I applied for an Indian passport for my child in the UK. I submitted proof of legal residency in the UK, including a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), a utility bill, and proof of address in India. Additionally, each consulate has minor changes, so it's essential to double-check before applying.
