A surrender certificate is an official document issued to the individual who is surrendering their indian citizenship to obtain another citizenship. The applicant can apply for a surrender certificate from the Passport Seva website and surrender their indian passport online. For the Indian passport surrender, the applicant needs to visit the Passport Seva portal, then click on the register, and log in through the online Passport Seva portal by username and password. After logging in, click on the 'Apply for Surrender Certificate', fill out the online application form with all the documents, book an appointment, and submit the Surrender application for the Indian passport with fees to the Passport Seva Kendra.

    You can get the indian passport surrender application form from the online website of the Passport Seva Portal. You can download the application form under the 'Forms and Affidavit' section of the home page and print the application form. After filling out all the details completely, you need to submit the application form by booking an appointment and paying the fees, which is 500 INR effective from September 2022.
