Yes, NRIs can apply for an Indian passport. They just need to fill out a passport application form, submit the documents, pay an appointment fee, fix an appointment, visit the PSK office, and check their passport status.

Yes, NRIs can renew their Indian passport whether they are in Indian or from abroad where they currently live. The renewal process of an NRI passport is the same as the reissuing of a passport. Along with other requested documents, they need to provide their overseas address as well for the passport renewal.

Yes, a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) is eligible to apply for and renew an Indian passport. The application process for the passport generally remains the same as for Indian residents, with some additional steps.

Yes, since NRI is considered an Indian citizen, you can apply for your Indian passport renewal. I myself applied for my Indian passport renewal and was granted a new passport on a post after police verification.

Yes, you can. I did it back in 2009. In fact, during my time, they asked for fewer supporting documents. Additionally, the Indian passport renewal process is cheaper in India in comparison to applying from overseas. When it comes to experience, it might be simple if it is done abroad from the place you currently reside
