While not being part of the European Union, Switzerland is part of the Schengen area, and yes, if you are an indian passport holder, you will need to apply for a visa at a Swiss embassy if you want to travel to Switzerland. Additionally, with this visa, you can also travel to other Schengen countries for a maximum of 90 days in any 180-day period.

Yes, you can travel to Switzerland if you have a valid Schengen visa. The country is part of the Schengen zone, which allows passport-free travel between the member nations. Just ensure that you have a valid visa for the duration of your stay in the country and that you fulfill the specific entry requirements.

Yes, you need to apply for a visa if you want to visit Switzerland from India. To obtain a visa, you generally require return tickets, confirmation of hotel booking, and travel insurance. It is up to you whether you want to apply for the visa on your own or take the help of a visa agent to get a visa easily.

Depending on your country and what passport you are traveling on, you may or may not require a visa for a casual visit to Switzerland. If you have a plan to stay there for the long term, unless you are a citizen of the EU, you surely need a visa to live there. Additionally, in some cases, even EU passport holders require a visa to settle down in Switzerland.
