For all the PIO cardholders, they are required to apply for the PIO to OCI application conversion before the last extended date, which is 31 December 2025. The government of India has merged all the PIO cards into OCI, so those individuals who have a PIO card need to apply through the official website OCI services, fill out an online application, and upload all the required documents for the OCI card, then book an appointment with FRRO or the Indian consulate or mission post for the physical submission of documents and wait for the processing of the OCI card.  You can also track your OCI application online.

As I know that after 31 December 2025, all the PIO cards will become invalid, so I have filled out the online application form for the conversion of PIO to an OCI card, so that I can travel freely to India without any inconvenience, and it is also free if any individual applies before 31 December 2025.
