Family Traveling Together – Can One Person Submit All e-Arrival Cards?

My family and I are traveling from the USA to India later this month to attend a family wedding. There are five of us traveling together—my wife, our two teenage children, my mother, and me. Since I'm handling all the travel bookings and documents, I was wondering if I could also complete the digital e-Arrival Cards for everyone.

Each family member has their own passport, and the visa status varies. My wife and I have OCI cards, my children have U.S. passports with OCI cards as well, and my mother is traveling on an Entry Visa. I noticed that the e-Arrival Card asks for personal information, passport details, and travel information, but I couldn't tell whether each traveler has to submit the form themselves or if one person can submit multiple applications on behalf of the family.

Has anyone recently traveled to India as a family? Were you able to complete all the e-Arrival Cards from one device or one email address, or did everyone need to submit their own form individually?

I'm trying to avoid making mistakes before our departure. If anyone has recent experience, I'd appreciate knowing how it worked for your family. I also understand that travel procedures can change, so I'll verify the latest official guidance before we fly.

Our family traveled from Australia recently, and I completed all six e-Arrival Cards using my email address.

The process was fairly straightforward because our travel itinerary and accommodation details were identical. The only information that changed was the individual passport details and personal information.

One suggestion I'd make is to complete the forms a day or two before departure rather than waiting until the last minute. That gave us enough time to double-check everything and download each confirmation.

As always, I'd still recommend reviewing the latest instructions from the official Indian authorities before your flight because digital travel requirements may be updated.

We flew from the UK with my parents and two children a few weeks ago. I handled all of the travel paperwork, including everyone's digital e-Arrival Cards.

From our experience, the important thing wasn't who submitted the forms—it was making sure each traveler had their own individual submission. Since every passport has its own details, each application generated a separate confirmation.

I kept PDF copies of all the confirmations in one folder and also took screenshots in case internet access was slow after landing.

Requirements can change, but based on our trip, there wasn't any requirement for each person to physically submit the form themselves.

We traveled from Canada in June as a family of four, and I completed all the digital e-Arrival Cards myself. My husband wasn't available when I filled them out, so I entered everyone's passport details one after another using the same laptop.

Each submission was separate because every traveler had their own passport, but there wasn't any issue with one person completing the forms on behalf of the family. I used the same email address for all of them, and each confirmation arrived separately.

At immigration, every family member was processed individually, but having all the confirmations saved on my phone made things much easier.

Just be careful when entering passport numbers and dates of birth. I reviewed everything before submitting because correcting mistakes later could be inconvenient.
