The visa number on a US visa is also called the visa foil number, which is red in colour and located on the bottom right corner of the US visa. It generally contains eight numeric characters, but in some cases it only contains seven numeric characters with one alphabet.

I have applied for a visa through the official US services website by filing out an online application by entering all the correct information, and uploading all the documents with fees for the visa application fees. After I got my visa, I found my visa number on the bottom right corner of the visa written in red.

Every traveller except for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) is required to have a valid visa and passport. To get entry in the US states, you have to give your US visa number to the Customs and Border Protection force for the verification of your documents and to get a secure entry.

You can get your visa number by applying through the U.S. visa services website and filling out an application form with all the documents. However, the process can vary upon your visa type. For more information, you can visit the official travel state government website. If your visa is accepted, then the consular officer takes your passport to the US embassy or consulate and issues a printed visa in your passport.
