Some common errors in PIO to OCI applications are using incorrect characters, writing incomplete names, doing corrections yourself, unmatched signatures, and expired passports you should avoid all these mistakes by avoiding using special characters, writing full names, not correct information in the application form yourself, the passport must match the signature, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

Some common mistakes to avoid when filling out a PIO to OCI application include submitting incomplete documents, using the wrong photo size, paying the incorrect amount of fees, missing signatures, or providing or mailing everything to the incorrect email address.

One common error in the PIO to OCI application is providing incomplete documentation. I accidentally overlooked some crucial documents and submitted my application with some missing information, which prevented me from submitting vital details. Avoid this mistake, as it is a significant error, and each step of the OCI application process relies on clear and accurate documentation.

One common mistake I made, which led to my application rejection, was submitting the photograph in the incorrect size and with an incorrect signature. I am writing this to help you all avoid facing rejection. You must ensure that you submit the image in the correct dimensions and with a white background in color. Additionally, your signature must be in black ink on a white background and should not extend beyond the edges of the provided box.

When I was filling out the application form, I made a very silly mistake while entering my date of birth in Part A of the OCI application. As a result, I had to create a new form with a new reference number. Also, please note that once you submit, any changes will need to be addressed through the embassy. There is nothing to worry about; simply find a solution to the mistake you made.
