Review the document checklist for the Schengen country you plan to visit. Gather all the required documents as per that. Additionally, apply for your Schengen visa at least three months prior to your planned travel date to ensure sufficient processing time.

First, decide which Schengen country you are planning to visit, as you should enter the nation that provides you with the visa first. Also, check the visa rejection rate of the country. After that, depending on your visa type, gather all the required documents and verify them before submitting the final application.
