Visit the official website, choose the "NRI status" option, fill out the details, upload the documents, pay the fee, and you are good to go. This simple-looking procedure might turn very hectic if you don't have the correct preparation. Try to gather every document prior to filling out the application form. Cross-verify every detail to avoid any issues with the further steps. In case you face any kind of challenges, consider contacting the customer help service of NSDL or UTIITSL to get assistance.

I am an NRI, and I was struggling a lot with understanding the process of applying for a PAN card. It looked easy, but trust me, it wasn't. I asked my friend about the same, and that is when he suggested me to get assistance from Visament. I was skeptical at first to share my details online with someone, but I trusted them, and the process, which seemed so stressful, got completed by them like a breeze. I received my PAN card delivered at home without any struggle. The price that they charged for this was also quite reasonable for the quality of service they provided me with.

I applied for my PAN card in the UK through the UTIITSL website online. It was a very easy-to-follow process. I just had to fill out the form 49A, upload my documents, and pay the fee. I had to pay an extra amount for international delivery. Eventually, I got my PAN card delivered to me within three weeks.

An NRI can apply for an Indian PAN card by filling out the form 49A along with submitting the required documents and paying the applicable fees at the PAN application center of Protean (formerly known as NSDL eGov) or UTIITSL. He/she can also apply online for the card using either of the two websites. Additionally, an NRI needs to submit a photocopy of their passport along with their PAN application form as an ID proof. Apart from this also required to submit any document with their PAN application and ID proof to prove their home address, such as a bank statement, electricity bill, or more.
