To convert a tourist visa into an X visa in India, you have to fill out the application form on the online Indian Bureau of Immigration website, then enter your correct details in the application form, like current visa number, issuance country, and your contact information, then apply online, and take a print of the completed application. After this, book an appointment with the Foreigners Registration Office (FRO) or Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) and submit your application along with the required documents. The local authorities will verify your background check, and once it is completed, you will receive your indian X visa after the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) accepts your application.
