I believe it is more cost-effective to pay for healthcare in India for a small family, as we do not visit India frequently. However, if you are a frequent traveler or plan to settle in India, buying a health insurance policy can be a good idea.
I am an OCI cardholder, and I plan to purchase health insurance in India for myself and my husband. I am aware that the government of India has clearly stated that OCI cardholders can buy health insurance in India; however, the process is quite complex.
