I submitted my application shortly after the new e-OCI system became available. I completed the online registration, uploaded all the required documents, and followed the instructions provided for my jurisdiction in the USA. My application status has shown "Under Process" for a while now, but I haven't seen many people posting about successfully receiving their e-OCI card.
Most of the information I find online explains the new system, but there aren't many real applicant experiences yet. I'm especially interested in hearing from people in the USA, UK, Canada, or Australia who applied after the e-OCI rollout.
If you've already received your e-OCI, I'd love to know:
I understand the system is still fairly new, so processing times and procedures may still be evolving. Just trying to get a realistic idea of what early applicants are experiencing.
I'm in the UK and applied for an OCI reissue after renewing my passport.
Mine is still pending, so I haven't received the e-OCI yet. From reading several community discussions, it seems people who submitted applications in the first few weeks after the rollout experienced different timelines depending on their Indian mission.
I wouldn't compare your case too closely with someone else's because document verification and workload seem to vary quite a bit.
If your status is simply showing "Under Process," I don't think that's unusual.

I haven't received mine yet either, but I've noticed more people recently sharing successful timelines.
A friend in Canada received the digital confirmation first and then the physical OCI card about a week later. My own application is still waiting for review, so I'm hoping it'll move soon.
Since this is a new system, I think we're all helping each other figure out what the normal timelines look like.
Requirements and processing can still change, so I wouldn't worry unless your application has been inactive for much longer than the published estimates.
