Any person who has an OCI card can live in India permanently because the OCI card provides a lifetime free visa to travel in Indian. There are many benefits that you can enjoy with an OCI card, like no need to report your stay to the local authorities or police, getting same financial, educational, and economic benefits like the Indian citizens, getting same fares in the local flights, can visit to the national parks, wildlife scanturies at the same price as Indian citizens.

Yes, you can live in India if you have an OCI card. OCI card allows you to stay in India for work and living purposes. However, you can't own agricultural or plantation land, hold any public office, or participate in elections with an OCI because these care only for the Indian citizens, and an OCI card does not provide you with citizenship.
