Yes, you will need a visa to go to Italy. The visa type you need will depend on your purpose of visit and the duration of your stay. From the start of 2025, travelers from over sixty countries will have to apply for an ETIAS. It includes the US, Australia, and Canada. A Schengen visa is required for short-term trips for up to 90 days while an Italian national visa is needed for long-term stays over 90 days.

Yes, if you plan to stay in the Schengen area for more than 90 days, you will need a Schengen visa. Firstly, you will need to gather and submit certain necessary documents, including your passport, proof of sufficient funds, a travel itinerary, and any other relevant supporting documents. After that, you will have to apply through the official websites of the Italian embassy or consulate in your home country.

Yes, if you are an Indian citizen, then you will need a visa to enter Italy for short stays, typically up to 90 days. Since Italy is part of the Schengen Area, you will have to apply for a Schengen visa. If you wish to stay for longer than 90 days, you will need to apply for a national visa.

Italy is a member of the Schengen area, and non-EU citizens, including Indian citizens, require a visa to enter Italy for short-term stays. For longer duration stays, you will need a D visa, also referred to as a national visa.
