    OCI card is a pass for people of Indian origin who live in foreign countries. It allows them to stay, live, or work in India for an indefinite period without reporting the stay to the local police or any higher authority. With an OCI card, you will get a visa-free entry in India with equal rights as an NRI in the economic, financial, and educational sectors.

    To apply for an OCI application, you need to meet the eligibility criteria, which are that you should be a cititzen of India on and after 26 January 1950, if your spouse has an OCI card, or someone who is an Indian citizen, if the parents of a minor are Indian citizens then minor is also eligible to apply for an OCI card, and, if you have surrendered your Indian passport for obtaining foregin country citizenship, then you are eligible for an OCI card.
