I Had Applied to the Department but I Do Not Know My PAN?

I applied for a PAN application, but it hasn't reached me even after 1 year of applying. This is because of entering the wrong details in the application form or not having uploaded the necessary supporting documents for your PAN card application.

    To see the details of your PAN, you can visit the official Income Tax Department e-filing website, then click on the register button, and then log in by entering your username and password. Then select ‘My Account’ in the PAN details section, and you will see your PAN details like your PAN number, Name of PAN cardholder, Date of birth, Gender, Status, and Address.

    If you have applied for a PAN card through the NSDL or UTIITSL website but don’t know your PAN number. Then there are multiple ways to check your PAN number, through by entering your name, date of birth, by aadhaar card number, through sending an SMS, by the PAN card mobile app, or you can also see your PAN card number through the offline modes like toll-free numbers, PAN call centre, and checking your tax documents.

    Not knowing your PAN card status can be due to many possibilities, some of which are incorrect details, accidental misplacement, robbery of your PAN card, or unintentional loss of your PAN card. All you have to do is first report it to the nearest police station and file a lost or thief PAN card. and apply for a duplicate PAN card.
