Best Practices for Keeping OCI Documents Organized?

To keep my OCI documents organized, I have stored them in two separate locations. The physical documents are stored in a file, and the digital copies are saved on my Google Drive under the file name 'Documents Required for OCI Application'. Additionally, for safety purposes, I created a separate folder on my computer to store these documents in case they are deleted from my Google Drive.

I keep two print copies of all my documents, one for home records and one to carry during any travel or when applying for something. You never know when they'll ask, so it's best to always be prepared.

The best way to organize your OCI documents is to arrange them according to the document checklist. It will help you in two ways: gathering all the documents without forgetting any, and no confusion during the final submission of your OCI application, as you will tick off all the papers that you have uploaded on the site.

You can save your OCI documents digitally on your phone and, whenever needed, take a printout of them. Additionally, it also helps if anything gets lost, damaged, or requires resubmission of documents for the OCI application process.

I have always kept my documents maintained with correct information uploaded all the necessary documents and tracked my application with the given reference number.
