How Many Types of Indian X Visa?

The Indian X visas are of 8 types, which are X-1 Visa, X-2 visa, X-3 visa, X-4 visa, X-5 visa, X-5D visa, X-SP visa, and X-Misc visa. These visas are used for different means and purposes. The X-1 visa is for Persons of Indian Origin without an OCI card, while X-2 visa is for PIO or OCI cardholders. X-3 visa is issued to foreign nationals recommended by the Auroville Foundation, and X-4 visa is for foreign nationals who own property in India. X-5 visa is for diplomats and officials on non-official visits, whereas X-5D visa is used by the diplomats and officials in India for official work, X-SP is for participants and officials attending international sports events, and X-Misc visa is used by the foreign nationals applying for a visa for a purpose.

    An X-visa is an entry visa for foreign nationals of Indian origin. which can include the grandparents, parents, spouse, former indian nationals, or a permanent resident of India. With an X-visa, you can stay in India for more than 180 days. Additionally, this visa is not entitled to any Pakistani nationals.

    The Indian X Visa types also differ in their duration and stay period. The X-1 visa is five years with multiple entries, X-2 visa, five years with multiple entries. X-3 visa can be issued for a long and short duration of visa 3 months, 1 year, or 5 years, depending on the recommendation from the Auroville Foundation. The X-4 visa is valid for 1 year, and the X-5 visa duration depends on the purpose of the visit. The X-5D visa is granted for the appropriate duration, X-SP visa remains valid until the end of the sports event. The X-Misc visa is valid for 180 days, and to must register within 14 days of arrival.
