Short answer: to become a UK citizen, you need to live in the country for a long time to acquire "indefinite leave to remain (ILR)." You can apply for this if you live in the country for five years, on the matter what visa you are on. This provides you with permanent residency rights, unless you move away for an unspecified period. To apply for naturalization citizenship with ILR, you must live in the country for 1 year after getting it. There are some other ways to get UK citizenship, such as by marriage. But this is the most general unless you are already entitled to get citizenship from one of your parents.

Well, firstly, apply for a work visa. Note that only graduates with prior work experience or highly skilled employees will get one. After getting it, truthfully work in the country and follow all the rules and pay applicable taxes. Approximately five years later, you can apply for permanent residency, and 12 months later, give the citizenship test. If you pass it, you become a UK citizen.

At least 5 years of residency in the country, sometimes it may be 10. Have B1 in the English language, if you are from a non-English speaking country, and have a safe and good-paying job to manage your expenses in the country.

Five years' residency in the UK, sponsored by a citizen in the UK, and have no criminal record. Along with this, you should have a job or work permit or sufficient funds to manage your expenses and to avoid claiming social service support.
